Our goal was to create the ultimate ocean-going cruising yacht. She can be sailed by one seasoned yachtsman and cruise world’s most beautiful cruising grounds, or crossing oceans, with family or friends. Elan's new range is easier to sail and handle, more comfortable on deck and inside, and safer than comparable yachts. And: offering more pure sailing fun and speed than any rival.

Elan Sixty-Five is created to make your cruising vacation more enjoyable, comfortable and convenient then ever. Be it sailing or lounging on deck, using the interior spaces, or accessing the shore, the dinghy or the sea - all was designed to be easy and effortless.

The carbon-built Elan Sixty-Five (using epoxy resin) sails faster than any comparable yacht. Sailing faster than wind in true wind speeds of less than 11 knots, and planing between 13 and 16 knots of boatspeed in ocean breezes from 16 to 24 knots will not only create unique sailing fun on a bluewater cruiser

but also importantly shorten your voyage time. You are also enabled to avoid adverse weather - increasing safety and comfort.

Possibly the most important element of cruising is the safety of your family, your friends and yourself. Great care was taken to exceed the levels of protection during sailing in all conditions of the elements. The movement on deck and below, sail control and manoeuvres, were engineered not only for maximum comfort but primarily to protect the crew and make cruising vacation a success.
