Elan E4 at the Round the Lake Balaton Race regatta!

Elan E4 attended the most prestigious and biggest race on the lake Balaton in Hungary with around 600 participants. The Blue Ribbon(Kékszalag) Round the Lake Balaton Race is the oldest round the lake sailing competition in Europe. It is sailed on the longest course approx. 155 km - 84 nautical miles and the current course record is 7 hours 13 minutes. The Hungarian racing beauty named 'Elanor' was placed 41 all around and 1st in its class. Thanks to Imre Scholtz and his amazing crew from Ocean Sailing SE club for this amazing result.

Elan E4 Wins SAIL Magazine’s Best Boat Award

During and after the biggest sailboat show in the US, the Annapolis Sailboat Show, the Elan E4 had to endure a series of demanding trials at sea with SAIL magazine. Both the Elan E4 and the Elan Impression 45 were also nominated for Cruising World and Sailing World’s Boat of the Year award.
